Biography:
High-altitude mountaineer Mirza Ali grew up and was raised in the remote village of Shimshal, Hunza-Nagar District of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
Mirza Ali became the first Pakistani man to achieve the milestone of scaling seven summits in seven continents after successfully climbing Mount Everest. Ali achieved the feat after ascending world’s highest peak today at 2:16 am on 22 May 2019.
He is also active in doing social works as he wrote 'Beyond the Heights' a documentary about he sister Samina Baig’s journey from her remote mountain village to the top of Mount Everest. It was premiered on March 5, 2015 in Islamabad and was released on limited screens around Pakistan.
Mirza is providing training and organizing expeditions for students of various schools, colleges and universities, of Pakistan putting his entire effort to bring mountaineering as sports in Pakistan.
