  • 2 Gold in 33rd National Games Peshawar 2019.

2018:

  • 2018 2 Gold in 12th National Woman Karate Championship, Sahiwal.

2017:

  • 4 bronze in 4th South Asian karate championship Srilanka.  
  • Represented Pakistan in 4th solidarity games BAKU 2017.
  • Selected for youth delegation from Baluchistan talent towards China and represent Pakistan Green Flag there.  
  • Received the award of "A role model" by PICSS (Pakistan Institute for conflict and security Studies) in Buitems, Quetta.

Biography:

Shahida Abbasi is a proficient Karateka who has started learning Karate since 2004, owing to it primarily to her dedication and hard work.

Shahida belongs to the Hazara community in Balochistan; coming from a background which lacks facilities and is traditionally dominated by males, it was not easy for Shahida to achieve her goal.

He has studied BA from the University of Balochistan, Quetta. She is currently honing her skills in the martial art of Shotokan.

Through her hard work, she has not made just her parents but the entire country proud.

This Baloch girl has literally broken stereotypes by her hard work; no doubt that athletes like Abbasi are putting Pakistan on the martial arts map.

She is currently teaching the art of Karate to other passionate young girls in a Karate academy in the small town of Hazara.
