Pakistan to take on Italy in Tariq Niazi Rugby Trophy match tomorrow
Pakistan Rugby League team will play a match against the National side of Italian Rugby team on Saturday 18th November at Jinnah stadium of Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.
To bring the sports back in Pakistan, Government of Pakistan and sports authorities are taking initiatives and for that Pakistan Rugby League invited the Italian National rugby team under the auspices of World Rugby League to play in Tariq Niazi Trophy in Islamabad tomorrow.
The event will be organized in collaboration with Pakistan Sports board and with the support of World Rugby League and Sports Fever 360. The match also brought the chance to bring the sports back in Pakistan and open the way for other teams to play in Pakistan.
Italia Rugby Football league president Dott Parigi is also in Pakistan with the team members. "I am very happy to visit here and the people of Pakistan are very good" commented the president.
“The security arrangements over here are excellent,” he said and added we are ready to play in any city of Pakistan. “Future of rugby in Pakistan is very bright and he also invited Pakistan rugby team to come to Italy”. He added.
The event will be open for the common men to generate interest in the game. All the dwellers are invited to watch the first of its kind international Rugby match in Pakistan.
The sponsors for the event are Hashoo Group, Marvel Motors, HOWDY, Matchless Travels International, bling studios and Moonlight trust.
The match for the title of Tariq Naizi Rugby Trophy between the two teams will be played at 12:00 PM at Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad.
