Australia blows Pakistan in 4 Nation International Festival match
No.2 ranked Australia thrashes Pakistan by a huge margin of 9-1 in the 1st match played at Melbourne's State Netball Hockey Centre, Australia.
Australia dominated the game from the very first minute of the game and hammered 9 goals to Pakistan in reply No. 13 ranked Pakistan only managed to score 1 goal. Australia scored its first goal in the 8th minute of 1st quarter and 2nd on the 12th minute of 1st quarter.
Australia continues pressing young Pakistan side in the 2nd quarter as in the 18th minute of Australia banged the 3rd goal. Australia scored another 2 goals in the 3rd quarter in 33rd and 43rd minutes of the game. Pakistan scored its only goal in the 32nd minute of 3rd quarter. Australia hammered 4 goals to Pakistan in the 4th and last quarter in 47th, 55th, 56th and 60 minutes of 4th quarter.
Govers Blake hits a hat-trick while Kleinschmidt Aaron scored 2 goals. Hayward Jeremy, Whetton Jake and Arunasalam Kiran contributed 1 goal each for Australia. Abu Mahmood scored the only goal for Pakistan.
Pakistan will play its next match tomorrow against Japan at 9:00 AM (PST).
