Spectacular Conclusion to the All Pakistan 1st Burn Hall Tent Pegging Competition

More than 140 riders from 35 tent pegging clubs nationwide.

Abbottabad: The vibrant two-day All Pakistan 1st Burn Hall Tent Pegging Competition, organized by Burn Hall College, concludes with an impressive turnout. More than 140 riders from 35 tent pegging clubs nationwide, including female participants, showed their skills in this highly anticipated event.


The final day saw a large number of spectators gather to witness the thrilling conclusion. The Director of Army Burn Hall Institutions extended a warm welcome to the chief guest, Commissioner Hazara Syed Zaheer ul Islam, and Major General Zahid Mehmood. During the closing ceremony, both dignitaries presented prizes to the winning teams and individuals, celebrating their outstanding performances.

The championship not only highlighted the competitive spirit of the participants but also exhibited Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage. Clubs from across the nation delivered stellar performances, earning accolades and recognition.

Ayesha Khan, Zoya Mir, Eman Tariq showed their tent pegging skills.

Participants praised the excellent arrangements made by the institution. The Director of Burn Hall Institutions emphasized the importance of tent pegging and horse riding in reflecting Pakistan’s traditional and cultural rural background. He expressed a commitment to promoting and supporting such activities on an even larger scale next year.

Double Competition

1st Position - Mehr Zawar Hussain Sipra & Ch Gulzamam Abbas Rajoka 

2nd Position - Malik Hamid Mehmood Tiwana & Mehr Zamurd Abbas Lakana 

3rd Position - Khan Saifullah Khan Jadoon & Khan Khizar Hayat Khan Jadoon 

4th Position - Khan Yasir Iqbal Khan Jadoon & Mehmood Ilyas Khan Jadoon
