Australia Set to Clash with Pakistan in Three-Match Volleyball Series in Islamabad
Ch Mohammad Yaqoob, Chairman of the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) confirmed that the Australian national team would be travelling to Pakistan for the first time.
Australia's National Volleyball team is all set to face Pakistan in a three-match series in Islamabad at the end of May.
This series, scheduled from May 28 to May 30, promises to be a riveting showdown between two formidable teams, brimming with talent and determination.
The Australian squad is primed for action, with their arrival in Islamabad scheduled for May 26. Upon touching down in the capital city, the team will dive straight into preparations, engaging in rigorous training sessions on May 27 to acclimate themselves to the local conditions.
The series will begin on May 28 with the first match, followed by the second encounter on May 29, and culminating with the showdown on May 30. Expectations are soaring for these matches to display impressive volleyball skills.
To ensure widespread viewership the Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) is working to secure live television coverage for the matches, allowing fans across the nation to cheer on their favourite teams from the comfort of their homes.
Pakistan team is also preparing for the Asian Challenge Cup scheduled to be held in Bahrain in the first week of July.
Plans are also in motion for the Volleyball Pro League, with the federation aiming for the league in September or October later this year.
