Interdepartmental Tennis Tournament Set to Serve Up Today
Five departmental teams will take part in the inaugural tournament.
The inaugural Interdepartmental Tennis Tournament is all set to begin today in today. The tournament will feature five departmental teams, including the Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Army, SNGPL, Water and Power Development Authority, and the Pakistan Olympic Association.
All the matches will be action-packed at the PTF Tennis Complex, Garden Avenue, Islamabad.
The event will commence with an enthralling clash between the Pakistan Army and SNGPL, followed by a riveting encounter between WAPDA and the Pakistan Navy.
The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for 2:30 PM. Zahoor Ahmed, Additional Secretary of IPC, and DG PSB will grace the occasion as Chief Guests, officially inaugurating the 1st PTF Inter-Department Tennis Trophy 2024.
In a video message on social media Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of PTF, expressed his expectations for the event and emphasized the importance of active participation from the fans. He extended a warm invitation to all tennis lovers to witness the thrilling tennis extravaganza and show support for the nation's top players in Islamabad.
