Renowned athlete Irfan Mehsood, hailing from South Waziristan, has garnered widespread attention after he returned a prize cheque worth Rs0.5 million to the KP Sports Department. Mehsood, celebrated for his prowess in martial arts and fitness, has achieved a remarkable feat of breaking 100 Guinness World Records.

Expressing his dissatisfaction with the treatment received from the sports department, Mehsood took to social media to voice his grievances. He accused officials of disrespect, highlighting an incident where he approached the department seeking equipment for his club. Instead of extending support, Mehsood alleged that they engaged in bargaining and offered him a sum of Rs0.2 million, which fell short of his requirements. In response, Mehsood expressed his dismay, stating, "If you can't respect us, don't insult us."
Mehsood's illustrious career in athletics has earned him nationwide acclaim, culminating in the prestigious Presidential Pride of Performance Award. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the first Pakistani to achieve 100 Guinness World Records. Among his extraordinary feats is the record for lifting 63kg with his toe, surpassing Italy's Marcello Ferri.
