Rain Threat Looms Over Opening T20I Match

The first match of the five-T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand is scheduled to begin today in Rawalpindi. However, cricket fans and players alike are wary of potential disruptions as rain threatens to intervene, as per the Met Department.
According to the latest weather forecast, there is a 60% chance of rain during the day and an 80% likelihood of rainfall at night on the day of the opening match. This forecast has raised concerns among cricket fans about the possibility of a rain-affected match.
The weather outlook for the subsequent matches remains uncertain as well.
On April 20, the day of the second T20I, there is a 49% chance of rain in Rawalpindi, further adding to the uncertainty surrounding the series.
After the first three matches at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, both sides will move to Lahore, where they will play the remaining two T20Is of the series on 25 and 27 April, respectively.
All five matches of the T20I series will start at 7:00 pm (PST).
