Pakistan to start campaign against Chinese Taipei in U-15 Asian Baseball
The 9th U-15 Asian Baseball Championship will start tomorrow at the Shida Stadium, Japan. Six teams from Asia will join the 5 days single round robin contest, Hong Kong, Korea, Pakistan, Philippines, Chinese Taipei and host Japan.
One of the features of the U-15 Asian Baseball Championship is the use of BFA approved rubber ball instead of regular hard ball with the same size and weight as hard ball. Another advantage includes economy as the rubber ball is more durable and can be used in in wet or rainy conditions.
Chinese Taipei have captured 3 consecutive Asian title (2010 in Bangkok, Thailand, 2012 in Orissa, India and 2015 in Shizuoka, Japan), sending Japan and Korea in 2nd and 3rd places respectively for the third time in a row also.
Syed Muhammad Shah will lead the Pakistani team. Pakistan will play its first match against Chinese Taipei tomorrow at Shezoka’s Shida Stadium.

The Team leading the points table will win the U-15 Asian Baseball Championship. Closing ceremony of Championship will be on Sunday 5th November 2017.
