8th National Road Cycling Championship Concludes in Karachi
A large number of players from various cycling clubs and associations participated in the event.
The 8th National Road Cycling Championship concluded its thrilling three-day event today at DHA Phase-8 Karachi. The final day featured six Road Cycling events for men and women, culminating in a vibrant Closing and Prize Distribution Ceremony attended by a large number of sports enthusiasts and the general public.
In the Men's Masters category, M. Wazeer from Crank Addict secured the 1st position, followed by Naeem Ahmad from SSGC in the 2nd position, and Abdul Wahab from Crank Addict in the 3rd position.
For the Women's Masters, Asma Jan from SSGC claimed the 1st position, Rabia Garib from SSGC secured the 2nd position, and Kaukab Sarwar from BCA earned the 3rd position.
In the Men's Junior category, Wahid Babo from Crank Addicts emerged victorious in the 1st position, with Shayan Aziz from BCA in the 2nd position and Nisar Ali from Islamabad Cycling Association in the 3rd position.
The Women's Junior category saw Aneesa from BCA clinching the 1st position, and Urooj from Sind Cycling Association securing the 3rd position.
In the Women's Experts category, Bisma Choudhury from BCA claimed the 1st position, followed by Tayyaba from BCA in the 2nd position, and Rimsha from Sind Cycling Association in the 3rd position.
The Closing Ceremony witnessed the distribution of medals among the deserving winners across different categories, adding a colorful and celebratory touch to the culmination of this prestigious cycling championship.
