Shah Hussain Shah to compete today in Tokyo Olympics 2020
The Japan-based Pakistani judoka Shah Hussain Shah will compete in the 100kg weight category today (29th July)at 7:00am at the Olympics.
The Japan-based Pakistani judoka Shah Hussain Shah will compete in the 100kg weight category today (29th July) at 7:00am at the Olympics.
The son of famous boxer Hussain Shah who earned a bronze medal in Seoul Olympics 1988, Shah Hussain Shah represented Pakistan in numerous international venues in last decade including Rio 2016 Olympics (by qualification) and earned many medals. He is Commonwealth Games Silver medalist, Asian Double bronze medalist, Four times South Asian Medalist, Current South Asian Champion, and a National Champion since 2017.
His Japanese Coach Mr Kobayashi Yusuki (World bronze medalist) has trained him hard for Tokyo Olympics.
Meanwhile, weightlifter Talha Talib, who finished at fifth place in 67kgs competition, returned to Lahore from Tokyo. Mahoor Shahzad exited the women’s singles badminton tournament at the Tokyo Olympics while Haseeb Tariq finished 62nd out of 70 competitors in the heats for the men’s 100m freestyle swimming competition.
