Badsha defeated Qarshi in 5th Aftab Qarshi Veterans Cricket Championship
Lahore Badshah beats Aftab Qarshi by 3 wickets in the league match of 5th Aftab Qarshi Veterans Cricket Championship played at Cricket Center Ground Model Town, Lahore.
While batting 1st, Qarshi team scored 256/7 in allotted 30 overs. Captain of Aftab Qarshi, Mohsin Aftan scored a brilliant century with the help of 12 fours and 3 huge sixes. He scored 118 runs. Mansoor Hussain 37, Javaid Malik 34 and Asif Ejaz 35 were other scorers.
Yasir Junaid from Lahore Badshah took 3 wickets for 38 runs, Naeem ul haq took 2 for 59, Yasin Cheema and Riaz Barnad tiik 1 wicket each.
In reply, Lahore Badsha achieved the target of 257 runs in 29.1 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Tariq Ramzan played well for his 62 runs in just 20 balls with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes.
Yasin Cheema 61, Yasir Junaid 28, Amir Khan 25, Nasir Mehmood 23 and Naeem ul Haq 24 not out helped the team to achieve the target.
Tehseen Mirza of Aftab Qarshi took 3/33, Imran Sheikh 1/51, Faisal Elahi 1/56, Javed Malik 1/43 and Shahid Ishaq 1/27.
