Pakistan’s veteran tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq, partnered by Oliver Marach of Austria, won their pre-quarterfinal match at Wimbledon 2021.
Aisam ul Haq Qureshi, who turned 41 in March this year, and Marach, 40, are making their debut at Wimbledon by overpowering Alexei Popyrin (Australia) and Lloyd Harris (South Africa) in the round of 32 match.
Aisam & Oliver never look back and won the encounter with the final score line of 7-6 (6), 3-6, 6-3.
Aisam and Oliver will now meet the fourth seed duo of Argentinian Horaclo Zeballos and Spanish Marcel Granollers in the pre-quarter-finals on 5th July(Monday).
Earlier, unseeded Aisam and Oliver ousted 13th seed Belgium pair of Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen by 6-4, 6-4 in the round of 64.
