Aisam-Rojer moved to Quarterfinal of Stockholm Open
Pakistani tennis star Aisam ul haq with his Dutch partner Jean-Julien Rojer registers first win in Stockholm Open tennis tournament.
Aisam and Rojer defeated pair of Australian John-Patrick Smith and American Nicholas Monroe in straight sets in the pre-quarter final of Stockholm Open tournament. The winning score of 2nd seeded Pak-Dutch duo was 6-0 & 7-6.
Aisam and his Dutch partner now moved to the Quarter final stage of the Stockholm Open tournament.
The Dutch-Pakistani duo also won the Stockholm Open in 2013.
The Dutch-Pakistani duo also won the Stockholm Open and Miami Masters 1000 in 2013.
It is to mention here that Aisam won 16 ATP titles in his career and won all pervious 5 titles of 2017 with different partners.
Aisam and Rojer will play against Italian pair of Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli in per-quarter finals of the tournament.
Aisam is currently world no. 28 player in ATP doubles events.
