Ammad, Azaan, Khushal, Huzaifa in finals of KP Junior Squash C'ship Boys 2021
The KP Junior Squash Championship Boys 2021 draws were reduced to the finals, which will be played today (30th June) at Qamar Zaman Squash Complex, Peshawar.
A third busy day at KP Junior Squash Championship Boys 2021 as the draws were reduced to the finals, which will be played today (30th June) at Qamar Zaman Squash Complex, Peshawar.
In the opening game of the first semifinal, both players had several game ball opportunities. In the end Muhammad Ammar nicked it 11-7 and that could have proved to be a tough pill for Yaseen Khattak to swallow. Yaseen then came out of the blocks like a rocket as he raced through the second game and continued in the same vein for the third game. It would have been easy for Ammad to be demoralized at being two games down within 15 minutes, but to his credit, he rallied back to compete hard in a tight fourth. His efforts were rewarded as he edged the fifth game 11-5 to win the encounter.
Muhammad Azaan Khalil put on quite the show for those lucky enough to be in attendance. Azaan's full arsenal was on display as he utilized all parts of the court. At times he appeared to have Shayyan Ali on a string as he masterfully controlled proceedings. However, Azaan wasn’t to be denied and eased through to book his spot in the Boys U17 final.
