Sadpara’s son, Canadian filmmaker starts search mission for missing K2 climbers
The son of legendary mountaineer late Mohammad Ali Sadpara, Sajid Ali Sadpara and Canadian Filmmaker Elia Saikaly has started to climb K2 for a ground search of the three missing climbers.
The son of legendary mountaineer late Mohammad Ali Sadpara, Sajid Ali Sadpara and Canadian Filmmaker Elia Saikaly has started to climb K2 for a ground search of the three missing climbers.
The missing climbers included Pakistani high-altitude mountaineer, Mohammad Ali Sadpara with two others - Iceland's John Snorri and Chile's Juan Pablo Mohr. They went missing in February this year while attempting to scale the world's second-highest mountain K-2 which have been officially declared dead.
"We have started first day of our trek from Askole village situated at 3060m above sea level, century old launchpad of expeditions for K-2,Gasherbrums, BroadPeak, Latoks, Trangos and so many other peaks of Central Karakoram". Sajid tweeted.
