49 cricketers participate in Level-1 Umpiring course 2021
A total of 350 personnel participating in the course and they are being provided training by the match referees from PCB’s Elite and Supplementary panels.
As many as 49 cricketers participating in online Level-1 Umpiring course for umpires and match officials, which began today (8th June). These cricketers comprise Pakistan internationals – Abdul Rauf, Bilal Asif and Salman Butt.
A total of 350 personnel participating in the course and they are being provided training by the match referees from PCB’s Elite and Supplementary panels.
The partakers will be provided knowledge about the core umpiring rules, regulations and laws of the game before having written tests, fitness tests and interviews.
This initiative is part of the Pakistan Cricket Board’s promise to boost the employment opportunities for former cricketers and the candidates, who effectively complete the course will be qualified to officiate club and school games.
The PCB opened the registration in April for this course.
