Pakistan got good chances for gold medals in Kyokushin: Grand Master Raja Khalid
We
are aiming for Japan 2020 Olympics after good performance in international
events, Grand Master Raja Khalid, Chairman Kyokushin Federation was of the view.
He said that
the Kyokushin is a type of Martial Arts and it is getting popular among the men
and women in Pakistan. Kyokushin is a youthful sports and would be helpful for promoting
the self-defense in our younger generation, he added.
He was talking to media during the inauguration ceremony of fitness and Martial Arts center in Behria Town. He said, Kyokushin is the name of self-improvement, discipline and hard training. People participating in such activities can be very handy for the society and the country, he further said.
“We are aiming for achieving big in 2020 Japan Olympic Games as we were getting medals and positions in all the international platforms” he said. “We are planning the meetings with DG Pakistan Sports Board Akhtar Ganjhara, Chairman Pakistan Sports Board Gen (r) Arif Hassan and Chairman Punjab Sports Board Hanif Abbasi to convince them for our support” He said. It’s a high time that sports must be given an essential part of the education curriculum. The chairman added.
