Sindh Cricket Academy wins PSSO All Sindh U-18 T 20 Cricket League Battle 2021
Sindh Cricket Academy Hyderabad beat Mirza Qamber Cricket Academy by three wickets in the final to win the PSSO All Sindh U-18 T 20 Cricket League Battle 2021.
PSSO All Sindh U-18 T 20 Cricket League Battle 2021 concluded successfully under the supervision of PSSO in collaboration with Hayat College School Hyderabad.
Sindh Cricket Academy Hyderabad outplayed Mirza Qamber Cricket Academy by three wickets in the final.
Sindh Cricket Academy Hyderabad captain S M Fahad won the toss and elected to field first. Mirza Qamber Cricket Academy scored 133 with Fardeen Shaikh from top scoring with a fluent 53 off 49 Balls with 4 fours. Salman Khan took three wickets.
In reply SCA Academy chased the winning target for the loss of seven wickets. SCA needed three runs on the last ball when Muzzamil hit the winning six it was to win the thrilling final.
Muhammad Abbas Baloch, Commissioner Hyderabad Division graced the ceremony as chief guest and distributed the prizes. The event had the presence of President PSSO Gohar Raza and Secretary general Syed Nadeem and presented a shield, Sindhi Cap and Ajjrak to the chief guest.
Later, the PSSO Hyderabad honoured Hyderabad Test cricketers and organizers with lifetime achievement awards, including Mir Haider Talpur (ex-member Governing Board PCB), umpire Taufiq Khan (late), Abdul Rehman Rajput (ex-mmeber Provincial Assembly and First Class cricketer-organizer), late Aftab Qureshi (ex-district sports officer and cricket organizer), Shakeel Ahmed Qureshi ex-president Hyderabad Cricket Association) and Pakistan Test and ODI cricketers Nouman Ali and Sharjeel Khan.
Best wicketkeeper’s award went to Fardeen Shaikh while Best Batsman’s award went to Salman Khan and Best Bowler was Ubaid Rahooto. Sikander was declared Player of the Tournament.
