WAPDA thrash Gilgit WFC 14-0 in National Women’s Championship 2021 opener
The National Women’s Football Championship got underway with four matches in simultaneous kick-offs at the KPT Stadium and the KMC Stadium respectively.

The opening match was seen between WAPDA and Gilgit WFC where WAPDA blasted five goals into the back of the net in just the first half and WAPDA burst through the opposition in dominant fashion by winning the match at 14-0.
In the second encounter of the opening day, it was a different story on the other pitch as both teams from Hazara; Hazara Girls Academy and Hazara Quetta Football Academy found themselves at a stalemate at the final whistle, and the match ended at 0-0.

Defending champions Pakistan Army will begin their campaign in Group ‘C’ against JAFA Soccer Academy on Wednesday (10th March).
The top two teams from each of the four groups advance to the quarter-finals while the third-placed teams will advance to the semi-finals of the development stage competition where they will await the winners of the matches between the fourth- and fifth-placed sides.
The 19-teams tournament is scheduled to conclude with the final at the KMC Stadium on April 2.
