Lahore Division emerges winner of Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Division Powerlifting, Table Tennis C'ship 2021
Lahore Division stand at the top of inaugural Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Division Powerlifting (Female) and Table Tennis (Male) Championship as they became the winners with stunning 125 points.
324 players and officials from all nine divisions of the province participated in the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Division Powerlifting (Female) and Table Tennis (Male) Championship, which concluded successfully at Nishtar Park Sports Complex Gymnasium Hall, Lahore.
Lahore Division stands at the top of inaugural Quaid-i-Azam Inter-Division Powerlifting (Female) and Table Tennis (Male) Championship as they became the winners with stunning 125 points.
Gujranwala Division also obtained 125 points to claim the Men’s Weightlifting title. Gujranwala ended ahead of Lahore (106), Faisalabad (78), Sahiwal (34), Sargodha (15), Multan (14), DG Khan (3) and Bahawalpur (2)
In powerlifting, Lahore finished ahead of Faisalabad (59 points), Sargodha (54), Bahawalpur (30), Gujranwala (27), Sahiwal (16), DG Khan (11), Multan (2) and Rawalpindi (1).
Vice-Chairman Sports Board Punjab Rao Zahid Qayyum, Secretary Youth Affairs and Sports Fuad Hashim Rabbani and Director General Sports Punjab Adnan Arshad Aulakh distributed cash prizes and medals at the closing ceremony of First Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Divisional Table Tennis (M&F), Weightlifting (M) and Powerlifting (F) Championships 2021 at Nishtar Park Sports Complex.
