Sana Bahadur, Haris Zahid, Umair Arif emerge winners of KP Junior Squash C'ship 2021
Emerging Sana Bahadur, Haris Zahid and Umair Arif outscored their respective rivals to win the titles of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Girls U15 and Boys U11 and U13 Junior Squash Championship 2021.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Girls U15 and Boys U11 and U13 Junior Squash Championship concluded successfully at Qamar Zaman Squash Complex, Peshawar.
Top seeded Sana Bahadur and second seed Maira Hussain clashed in Girls Under-15 final where Sana took just 16 minutes to claim the title by 3-0.
Sana was home with 11-5, 11-6, 11/5.
In under-11 boys final, Haris Zahid overpowered Ahmed Khalil in 18 minutes with the final score line of 6-11, 11-7, 11-8,11-7.
Umair Arif face tough resistance against Ubaid Ullah by 3-2 in 26 minutes. Umair claimed the title with the final score line of 11-8, 11-3, 3-11, 6-11, 15-13
Colonel Abid Bahadur graced the ceremony as a chief guest. The event had the presence of former world Squash champion legend Mr. Qamar Zaman Executive members Wazir Khan, Sher Bahadur, Cheiff Organiser Munawar Zaman Squash coaches and players.
