Askari Alphas Club, Bahria Club storms into semis of 5th Essa Lab Basketball Tournament 2020
Askari Alphas Club and Bahria Club defeated their respective rivals to storm into the semifinals of the 5th edition of Essa Lab Basketball Tournament 2020.
The 5th edition of Essa Lab Basketball Tournament 2020 moved into the semifinal stage where Askari Alphas Club and Bahria Club defeated their respective rivals to storm into the semifinals.
In the opening match of the day, Bahria Club edge past Usman Club 50-42. For the winners the main scorers were Bilal Khan (22 pts), Hammad Khan (14 pts) and Zunair Ali (12 pts).
For the runner-up, main scorers were Hasan Iqbal (12 pts) while Hamza Khwaja, Mohammad Daniyal and Daniyal Marwat scored 10 points each.
Askari Alphas overcame a stiff challenge from Arambagh Club to win 46-42. For the winners Sufwanullah (18 pts) stole th limelight with brilliant game. He was well assisted by Saifullah Sherwani (14 pts) and Shahmeer Zaheer (13 pts) in the second match of the day.
For the runners-up, Asad Hafeez (16 points) played superbly and was well assisted by Desh Kumar and Muneeb Ahmed scored 10 points each.
Meanwhile, the Karachi Basketball Association announced that the last date of entry for the Quaid-e-Azam SSB Cup 303 is Dec 22 by 8:00pm and the teams can register with KBBA secretary Tariq Hussain.
