Top seed Tayyab Aslam set aside Muhmmad Farhan by 3-0. Pakistan’s no.1 Tayyab confirmed spot in quarterfinal with the final score line of 11-2, 11-6, 11-4.
Tayyab is now pitted against the Nasir Iqbal who recently claimed eight consecutive PSA title.
Unseeded Noor Zaman lost to second seed Asim khan with the final score line of 13-11, 4-11, 11-9, 7-11, 9-11.
Seventh seed Waqas Mehboob overpowered Muhmmad Bilal of Italy by 3-1. The scores were 7-11, 11-3, 11-4, 11-5.
Fourth seeded Farhan Zaman face tough resistance against Ali Bokhari to secure berth into the quarterfinal. Farhan won the match by 3-2 with the final score line of 9-11, 4-11, 11-6, 11-7, 11-5.
Fifth seeded Danish Atlas Khan thrashed unseeded Naveed Rehman with the final score line of 11-0, 11-3, 11-3.
