WAPDA ousted defending champions, National Bank to lift the coveted 66th National Hockey Championship crown after a highly entertaining final that was decided in a penalty shootout at the MPCL Ground, Rawalpindi.
Chairman WAPDA Lt. Gen. (retd) Muzamil Hussain awarded the prize at a special ceremony held at the Wapda House, Lahore.

Now WAPDA is the holder of all three hockey trophies, including women and junior champions, besides the men’s title.
