Hamira, Ali Illyas, Unsa Babar grab titles in 5th National Road Cycling C'ship 2020
65 men and 45 women cyclists from across the country are representing different provinces and departments in the 5th edition of National Road Cycling Championship 2020.
The 5th National Road Cycling Championship organized by Pakistan Cycling Federation has officially started today (12 Nov) in Karachi.
Syed Azhar Ali Shah President Pakistan Cycling Federation has inaugurated the 5th National Road Cycling Championship.
The 5th edition of National Road Cycling Championship is fully sponsored by Sports in Pakistan and Geo TV, Faisal Bank, Pizza Hut, Burger King and Gatorade Energy Drink provided facilities to all the athletes and officials.
In the three-day competition, 65 men and 45 women from across the country are representing different provinces and departments.

In the Junior Women's Individual Time Trial, Unsa Babar Islamabad bagged the first position and won Gold Medal, Hira Maqsoor Punjab bagged the second position and won Silver Medal and Malaika Shahid KPK bagged the third position and won Bronze medal.
In the men's individual time trial, Ali Illyas Bikestan Crank Addic bagged the first position and won gold while Farman SSGC bagged the silver and Shah Wali Bikestan Crank Addic bagged the bronze medal and bagged the second and third positions.

The participants in the race are from SSGC, Bikekistan Crank Addic, Punjab, KPK, Sindh, Balochistan and Islamabad.
Syed Azhar Ali Shah urged for full implementation of Corona SOPa. Organizer Secretary Nisar Ahmed made all arrangements while reviewing the arrangements, he said that all the arrangements are satisfactory. During the two events, the DHA closed the road to the river Seaview so that there would be no disruption in the race.
