Team Red wins 4-days camp organized by Diya women Football Club
Team Red defeated Yellow team by 1-0 to win the four day camp organized by the Diya women Football Club (DWFC) at Mushtaque Memorial Football Ground Makli Thatta.
Diya women Football Club (DWFC) in collaboration with Football for All and Girl Power organized a four day Camp at Mushtaque Memorial Football Ground Makli Thatta.
Around 30 Girls from age 10 to 16 attended the Camp. A side football the Players were briefed about COVID-19 and Food and Nutrient.
Team Red defeated Yellow team by 1-0 where Sobia steered team red by scoring the lone goal to win the title.
Uniforms, bags and Footballs were distributed by Girl Power to the players. Besides giving individual prizes to the players Winner and Runner up Trophies were given to Red and Yellow teams.
The event had presences of Sharif Gujjar (DO Sports), Khuda Bux Behrani (D.D.S.W), Muhammad Safdar Thatvi (Senior PET) and Brohi Ali Asghar (Treasurer Of Mehran F.C Makli Thatta).
Sadia Sheikh, who laid down the foundation of DWFC (Diya women football club), the first ever women football club in Pakistan, visited Mehran football community from 12 to 15 October in the quest for hunting talent. She is playing a pivotal role in promoting girls football throughout Pakistan.
Carrying the same objectives, she set a four day camp at Mushtaque Memorial Football Ground Makli. She was warmly and enthusiastically welcomed by Fatima Abdullah (Community Girls Head Coach) and other community members of Mehran FC Makli (the oldest football club in the region).
