PKR 2Million National U-19 One-day Cricket Tournament begins today

Sindh will defend the title in this six-team contest, carrying a cash prize of Rs1 million for the title winners. The runners-up will receive Rs500,000.
The man-of-the-match of every game will pocket Rs10,000. Similarly, best performers of the tournament, including best player, batsman, bowler and wicket-keeper will earn a cash prize of Rs50,000 each while the man-of-the-final will be claim Rs20,000.
This year’s edition will be played on double-league basis and the top two teams at the end of the league stage will compete in the final on Nov 2.
This event will be followed by National U-19 Three-Day Tournament, that commences on Nov 5.
The Balochistan team will be led by Mohammad Ibrahim Senior, while Mohammad Huraira is the captain of Central Punjab. Under the captaincy of Abbas Ali, KP will try to earn the title. Raza-ul-Mustafa and Saim Ayub are the skippers of Northern and Sindh, respectively. Mohammad Shahzad is the captain of Southern Punjab.
13th October’s fixtures:
- Balochistan vs Sindh (LCCA Ground, Lahore);
- Central Punjab vs Southern Punjab (Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore);
- Northern vs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Country Club Ground, Muridke)
