Abbasi XI defeated SHC Greens XI in a thrilling final to win the First Haji Ghani Invitation T-10 Colour kit Cricket tournament at the Naya Nazimabad, Karachi.
The first Haji Ghani Invitation T-10 Colour kit Cricket tournament culminated successfully at Naya Nazimabad Karachi ground under floodlights.
The thrilling final was played between Abbasi XI and SHC Greens XI under the auspices of Justic Helpline.
Abbasi XI captain Asad Abbasi won the toss and asked SHC Greens to bat first, led by Nusrat Ali, who scored 72 in the allotted 10 overs with Sajid Peecho (34) and Imran Haq (20) being the leading scorers. Fawad Khan captured 3 for 30 while Nasar Abbas bagged 2 for 24.
In reply, the Abbasi XI reached the winning target in the last over with Fawad Khan scoring a fluent 30 and Farhan scoring a fine 20. Ameet Ravi captured 3 for 15 while Umer bagged 2 for 10.
Secretary Law and Justice Commission Supreme Court Raheem Awan graced the ceremony as a chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners.
The event had also presences of President Justic Helpline Advocate Nadeem A Sheikh and Secretary Haris Ameen Bhatti.
