Asian Squash Team Championship 2020 postponed to next year

Asian Squash Federation (ASF) has postponed the 2020 Asian Team Championships to next year.

Asian Squash Federation (ASF) has deferred the 2020 Asian Team Championships to next year.

Because of the extension of the Recovery Movement Control Order to 31 Dec 2020 in Malaysia with no international participants and audience are are permitted to participate in sports activities, ASF’s Executive Committee, having counseled the Management Committee, decides to postpone the 2020 Asian Team Championships to next year.

The Asian Team Squash Championships 2020 was scheduled to be held from March 25 to 29, 2020 in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia.

In 2019, Pakistan squash team crushed the defending champions India to claim the trophy by 2-0 while in 2018 Pakistan team were the runner-up.

Pakistan has won 15 versions in the 39 year history of this event. The first event was held in 1981 in Karachi.
