The British Junior Open 2021, scheduled to take place from 2-6 January in Birmingham, England, will be reviewed in late August following the global coronavirus pandemic.

Mike Edwards, Tournament Director said:
“In light of the current pandemic and the uncertainties we all face over the coming months, including continued travel restrictions, the British Junior Open organizing committee is making preparations for the event to take place in January. We will continue to review the impact of the event and its participants, with a view to making a decision in late August.

“It is likely the opening and closing entry dates will be delayed as late as possible in order to give us all as much confidence as possible that the event will be able to take place safely, prior to opening entries sometime in September.”

Pakistani juniors exhibit brilliant performance at the last edition of British Open as promising youngster Mohammad Hamza Khan won the U-15 title for the country’s first win since 2012.
