PHF’s women wing exhibition hockey matches ended at 1-1 draw
Pakistan Hockey Federation’s women wing sorted out two exhibition hockey matches regarding the 73rd Independence Day on August 17 which were ended at 1-1 draw.
At the National Hockey Stadium Lahore, the Pakistan Hockey Federation’s women wing sorted out two exhibition hockey matches regarding the 73rd Independence Day on August 17 which were ended at 1-1 draw.
The opening match competed between Sports Board Punjab XI vs PHF Women XI which was finished to equal 1-1 goal. Hina Pervez from PHF Women’s XI and Hamra Latif from Sports Board Punjab XI scored each goal.
The second match was contested between Fatima Jinnah XI vs Begum Ra’ana Liaqat XI. This match also ended in a 1-1 draw. Saba Riaz scored for Begum Ra’ana Liaqat XI while Arzoo Mansoor scored for Fatima Jinnah XI.
Secretary Punjab Hockey Association Lt. Col. (Retd) Asif Naz Khokhar and Director Sports Board Punjab Muhammad Hafeez Bhatti were the guests of honour on this occasion.
Madam Tanzeela Amir Cheema, General Manager Pakistan Hockey Federation Women Wing, Madam Chand Parveen (Deputy Director Sports Board Punjab) and Rai Usman Akbar Kharal, Associate Secretary Punjab Hockey Association were also present there.
