Country's top-class cricket tournament, Quaid-e-Azam Trophy to begin in coming months

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is preparing to start Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, the country’s top-class cricket tournament, under a bio-secure environment.

The two cities will be settled from Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi for organizing the first class and second XI events from late September or early October this year.

A PCB official said that coronavirus threat was likely to be there for a considerable time.

“We have to work around it with prescribed SOPs to prevent the spread of the virus among the players and the officials,” he added.
