PBF in doubt to hold Pakistan Professional Boxing League
The COVID-19 health crises are likely to force the organisers to delay the Pakistan Professional Boxing League (PPBL) which had been planned for October and November this year.
In the last winner, Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) has announced to launch the Pakistan Professional Boxing League (PPBL) this year under AIBA professional boxing rules and regulations.
But the COVID-19 health crises is likely to force the organisers to delay the event which had been planned for October and November this year.
PBF secretary, Col Nasir Tung announced the news saying,
“The way the COVID-19 situation is evolving, I think the league will not be possible this year,”.
The league will feature foreign boxers also, all from Asia and six teams will feature in the first edition. The logo of the league was formally unveiled in February this year.
