Aisam-ul-Haq to feature in Cincinnati Open & US Open 2020
Tennis ace Aisam-ul-Haq will resume his activities from the Cincinnati Open which will begin on August 22.
Tennis ace Aisam-ul-Haq has announced that he is eager to return to the courts after the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) said to resume its international tours from August.
Aisam, said that he will resume his activities from the Cincinnati Open which will begin on August 22.
"Tennis is resuming from August 14 with tournaments in Washington which will be followed by the Cincinnati Open and then US Open. I will be resuming my tour from the Cincinnati Open and then will go to New York for the US Open," he said.
"I will continue my partnership with Dominic Inglot whom I won New York Open and played the final of Montpelier Open in France with earlier this year. I will continue playing with him at the US Open and French Open." Aisam said while speaking to Geo News.
Due to circumstances brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Western & Southern Cincinnati Open will be held in New York City at the USTA’s Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in 2020 and will now take place from 22-28 August.
The ATP Masters 1000 and WTA Premier event, Western & Southern Open draw will include 56 players in main draw singles, 32 teams in doubles and a qualifying field of 48 players.
