The International Cricket Council has rejected reports suggesting the postponement of the T20 World Cup scheduled to be conducted in Australia in October-November.
The apex cricket body has clarified no decision has been taken regarding the fate of the tournament despite stories circulating in the media declaring that this year's event would be moved to 2022.
The ICC board will have an important meeting on Thursday where several issues relating to the resumption of international cricket will be discussed while contingency plans will also be explored in the context of the competition.

“This is on the agenda for the ICC Board meeting tomorrow and a decision will be taken in due course.”
