Fast bowler Mohammad Asif and off-spinner Saeed Ajmal troubled Amla the most in his playing days. According to the legendary cricketer, Asif was the best bowler he faced due to his deadly accuracy coupled with the ability to swing the ball both ways.

Praising Ajmal, the 37-year-old said that he was a class apart. “Saeed Ajmal was an absolutely brilliant bowler as well”, he said.
