Qayyum top-scored with 79 for his side in an innings laced with nine boundaries and a brace of sixes, as Pak Crescent CC posted 220 all out in 43.4 overs.
Off-spinner Zia-ur-Rehman snared four wickets for 11 runs.
Rising Star CC, in reply, were dismissed for 209 falling short of a get-able target. Afnan Khan scored 62 in a losing effort.
The wrecker-in-chief in this innings was off-spinner Huzaifa Munir who captured 5-24 as Qayyum chipped in with figures of 3-51.
Meanwhile, Faisal GymÂkhana also qualified for the next phase by recording a crushing eight-wicket victory over Youngster GymÂkhana at Landhi Gymkhana.
