Danny Vaughan, the trainer of Pakistan’s professional boxer Mohammad Waseem, has confirmed that the Quetta-born fighter will not take the ring for his March 6 bout in Dubai.

There was speculation on the postponement of the fight as it was reported Waseem will not be able to make the scheduled date because of lack of training.
Waseem was stuck in Pakistan after the fight had been announced and was unable to join his training camp in Scotland.
The Pakistani boxer is hopeful that he would get his next fight very soon. “I hope I will get my next fight soon. Waseem’s England visa will expire in March and he is likely to apply for its renewal soon.
Last year Waseem won two ranking fights, first by knocking out Conrado Tenamor of Philippines in September before edging highly experienced Ganigan Lopez of Mexico in November.
