Babar Azam reaches career best Test Ranking
Babar Azam has moved up two spots to number 5 in the latest rankings released by the International Cricket Council for test batsmen.
Pakistan cricket teams star batsman Babar Azam has achieved another milestone in his budding career by moving to number 5 in the ICC Test batsmen rankings.
The latest test rankings released by the ICC, have Pakistan's T20 captain jump up two spots. Babar’s instrumental 143 on the second day of the first Test against Bangladesh saw him jump up above Australia’s David Warner and Cheteshwar Pujara of India.
It is a career best test ranking for the 25-year-old in tests who sits on the top spot in T20I rankings as well as third in the ODI format.
India’s skipper Virat Kohli continues to top the Test ranking for batsmen.
