Ahmed Baig overcame Irfan Mehmood in a sudden death playoff to win the 2nd PGF Jinnah Development Golf Tour Event 2020 at Mangla Golf Club, Mangla.
Ahmed Baig of Garrison Golf Club and Irfan Mehmood of Rawalpindi Golf Club were tied at an aggregate gross score of 217 after 54 holes over three days. To decide the championship winner, a sudden death playoff took place where Ahmed outlasted Irfan by scoring a Birdie against a Par by Irfan.
During the course of three days, Ahmed carded scores of 68 on the first day, 75 on the second day and a final round score of 74, with the three day gross of 217.
Runner up, Irfan Mehmood scored 74, 69 and 74 to have the same gross as the eventual champion.
Other notable performers of the 2nd PGF Jinnah Development Tour were Muhammed Amir of Karachi with three round score of 219, Ejaz Khan of Peshawar with 220, Muhammed Akhter (Islamabad) and Zahir Shah (Peshawar ) finished with three day gross of 221.
At the conclusion of the 2nd PGF Jinnah Golf Development Tour 2020 at the Mangla Golf Course,the winners were honored by Maj Gen Majid Jehangir , Patron,Mangla Golf Club , Col Taimoor Khan , golfers and golf lovers.
