Alamgir Gymkhana, Korangi Al-Fateh advance in Prof.Ejaz Farooqi Invitation cricket
Alamgir Gymkhana and Korangi Al-Fateh added wins to their columns as Professor Ejaz Ahmed Farooqi Invitational Cricket tournament continued at various venues of Karachi.
Two more matches have been decided of the All Karachi Prof. Ejaz Farooqi Invitation Cricket Tournament.
In the first match Alamgir Gymkhana beat New Paramount Cricket Club by 7 wickets at KCCA Stadium
New Paramount C.C was bowled out for 109 in 31.3 overs with only Ammad Rafiq with 19, Waqas Noor with 18 added anything of substance to the total.
Ashiq Ali did most of the damage for the bowling side, taking took 3 for 15 while Sheeraz Hussain got 3 for 28 Hassan Khan 2 for 21.
Alamgir Gymkhana chased down the total for the loss of 3 wickets in 14.2 overs.
Hasan Mohsin scored 49 with 6 fours while Fahaddis Bukhari added 33
Korangi Al-Fateh got the better of Pak Star Cricket Club by 9 wickets at Pak Star ground in the second game of the day. Pak Star C.C managed to get to 134 before getting all out in 32.2 overs.
Nadeem Shad scored 38 with 5 fours and 1 six while Samiullah added 33
In reply, Korangi Al-Fateh easily chased down the score, losing just a single wicket in the process in 12.3 overs.
Raja Liaquat top scored with 69 with the help of 5 fours and 1 six and remained not out while Shahid Ali scored and unbeaten 48.
