Bilal Bhaty T20 tournament starts today
Seventh Bilal Bhaty Memorial Inter-school/collegiate T20 cricket tournament will set sail from today with Al Burhani Schooling System hosting St Paul's School in the opening fixture.
Seventh Bilal Bhaty Memorial Inter-school/collegiate T20 cricket tournament will kick off from today with Al Burhani Schooling System hosting St Paul's School in the opening fixture at their ground.
The Lyceum School take on debutants Sceptre College in the day’s other match at the same venue.
The event is held by Bob Woolmer Cricket Club in memory of Bilal who passed away on July 2013 while in England.
According to tournament director Shahid Nawab, 12 teams from educational institutions of the city are participating in the competition who have been divided into three groups of four.
Group ‘A’:
Al Nadi Al Burhani School System, St Paul’s School, Beaconhouse PECHS, Alpha College.
Group ‘B’:
Cedar College, Nixor College, City School Darakshan, Falconhouse Grammar School.
Group ‘C’:
The Lyceum School, Beaconhouse Defence, Highbrow College, Sceptre College.
