The budding star, Mahatir, easily defeated Taha Aman with the final score line of 7-6, 6-2 in the quarter-final.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim Nouman hammered Musa Akhund, Munir Darbari thrashed Bilal Chapra and Nadir Mirza smashed Kashan Tariq in the first round of Under-14 singles.
