Three more fixtures decided of Prof. Ejaz Farooqi invitational tournament

Three more matches decided of All Karachi Prof. Ejaz Ahmed Farooqi Invitation Cricket Tournament have been decided at various grounds of Karachi. 

In the first match of the day, Tuba Sports defeated Al-Karam Sports by 9 wickets at Eastern Star ground.

Al-Karam Sports, batting first, managed to put 226 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets in 45 overs. Babat Khan was the chief contributor to the total with 72 which included  9 fours and a six while Syed Kamran Rizvi added 43 with the help of 3 fours.

Mohammad Kashif managed to pick up 3 wickets for 51 runs for his side. 

Tuba Sports, in reply, chased down the target with ease losing just a single wicket in the process. They finished with 227/1 in 42 overs. Afsar Nawaz hit a brilliant century to guide his side home finishing on 109 not out with the help of 15 fours. Awais Ahmed also added 93 runs and remained not out as well with the help of 14 fours.

In another match Korangi Al-Fateh beat Azeempura Gymkhana by 9 wickets at Landhi Gymkhana ground.

Azeempura Gymkhana were all out for just 84 runs as Osama Bashart and Jam Saifullah tore through their side with 3 wickets each for 16 and 21 runs respectively.

Korangi Al-Fateh needed just 6.4 overs to reach the target for the loss of one wicket. Mohammad Waqas scored 39 runs for his side with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes while Mohtashim Ali remained not out on 35 to guide his side home.       

In the third match Fazal-ur-Rehman Sports beat Joharabad Cricket Club by 94 runs at TMC ground.
