Taha emerged victorious in a marathon clash. After losing the first set against Asim Gul, he recovered to win the second set 7-5 and finished the match by winning the third 6-3 score.
The match lasted for two hours and Taha won with a game scores of 5-7, 7-5, 6-3.
In the under-18 category, Ashar mir and Taha Aman outplayed their rivals on the opening day.
