4 more matches decided in Battle Axe Polo Cup 2020
Master Paints, Master Paints Black, AOS Polo and Barry's won their respective matches of Battle Axe Polo Cup 2020 at Cavalry Polo ground and LP&CC ground, Lahore.
On the second day of Battle Axe Polo Cup 2020, four matches were decided at Cavalry Polo ground and LP&CC ground.
In the first match of the day, Master Paints edged out Artema Medical/Black Horse Paints by 8-7 in the sudden death chukker at Cavalry Polo ground. From Master Paints, Mumtaz Abbas Niazi emerged as top scorer with a quartet while Mariano Regal hammered a hat-trick and Farooq Amin Sufi struck one.
From Artema Medical, Hamza Mawaz Khan fired in fabulous five goals while they also had a two goals handicap advantage.
In the second match of the day played at LGPC Cavalry Polo ground, helped by a half goal handicap, Master Paints Black beat Newage by 4½-4. From Master Paints Black, Manuel Eduardo Carranza struck all the four goals while from the losing side, Edward Banner Eve slammed in all the goals.
In the third match of the day at LP&CC ground, AOS Polo Team won the contest by 8½-5. From AOS Polo Team, which had a half goal handicap, Raja Samiullah cracked a quartet while Kian Hall contributed with a hat-trick and Hamza Ali Hakeem with one goal.
In the fourth and last match of the day at LP&CC ground, Barry's played well against Platinum Homes and outperformed them by 9-5½. From Barry's, Ernesto Trotz was hero of the day as he pumped in all the nine goals while from the losing side, which had a half goal handicap, Amirreza Behboudi converted four goals and Azam Noon struck one.
