Leisure Leagues & Roots Millennium partner up to promote football
Leisure Leagues & Roots Millennium including TMUC have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to organize small-sided football leagues across their 50 campuses.
Leisure Leagues and Roots Millennium Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Islamabad to promote football across Pakistan and to organize small-sided football leagues for their students.
Leisure Leagues, which is owned by World Group and the Trunkwala Family, has a network of 77 cities across Pakistan with 10,000 players being represented in their last season.
Roots Millennium Education is one of the most prestigious institutes of the country and has a nation wide presence of schools, colleges and universities with over 18,000 students and 50 campuses including the highly reputed The Millennium University College (TMUC).
Both organizations have now joined hands to promote football across their campuses and give students a chance to compete for a chance to represent Pakistan at the International Socca Federation (ISF) World Cup.
The ceremony was attended by top tier leadership of both institutions including World Group Managing Director Munir Trunkwala, Roots Millennium Education CEO Faisal Mushtaq, Leisure Leagues COO Ishaq Shah and Roots Millennium Education Director Communications Sabina Zakir.
"The aim of Leisure Leagues is to promote football among students and give them a chance to show their skills at an international level. Our partnership is a reflection of that," said World Group Managing Director Munir Trunkwala.
Roots Millennium Education CEO Faisal Mushtaq was also full of praise for the efforts made by World Group and The Trunkwala Family for the promotion of football in the country and expressed his desire to work closely with Leisure Leagues to promote football.
