Marksman Joseph moves to 15th spot in Asian shooting rankings
The Olympics bound marksman Gulfam Joseph further improved his ranking in Asia at the start of the New Year.
All the three shooters from Pakistan won quota places for Tokyo Olympics 2020 comprising of Gulfam Joseph, Ghulam Mustafa Basheer and Khalil Akhtar, further improved their rankings in Asia at the start of the New Year.
According to the rankings released by Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) for January, Joseph moved to 15th spot from 17th in 10-metre Air Pistol category.
In 25-metre Rapid Fire Pistol, Ghulam Mustafa Basheer and Khalil Akhtar retained their 7th and 11th positions, respectively.
In trap, Farrukh Nadeem retained his 29th position but Aamer Iqbal slipped one position to 44. Usman Sadiq rose one place to 31 in the same category.
In 10-metre Air Pistol event, Rashid Idrees rose two positions to 60.
In 10-metre Air Rifle, Zeeshan ul Farid jumped to 70th place and Ghufran Adil improved one position to 96.
In 50m Rifle 3-Positions, Nadira Raees bettered her ranking from 90th to 88th. In 10-metre Air Rilfe, Nadira Raees moved up to 157 from 163, while Minhal Sohail retained her 134th position.
In skeet, Usman Chand fell one position to 23, but Ahmed Usman retained his 49th spot.
